The Burning Man Film Festival is an ongoing program designed for Burning Man Regional Contacts as a way to bring local communities together, to provide wider exposure to films about the Burning Man experience, and to fundraise for local projects and support the Regional Network.
Each year the Burning Man organization licenses an array of feature-length and short films by Burning Man filmmakers that represent a variety of perspectives, historical moments, and significant movements within the Burning Man event and its global community. From this wide sampling of films, each Regional group can choose a lineup of films to fit their local community’s interests.
As part of the Film Festival, Regional organizers receive support and guidance on all aspects of film festival production, from working with their local venue and event promotion to post-event accounting.
Regional organizers or filmmakers who are interested in participating in the Film Festival in a Box may contact us here.
